In case anyone's wondering, yes I'm still alive and well.
Been out and about and everything. Living life day by day, night by night.
Watched Talentime the other night. The last movie directed by Yasmin Ahmad before she passed on. What can I say? Close to literary-perfection. :D It was the first time I cried so hard in a cinema. Usually I watch these kind of movies at home and cry by myself. Hearing other loud sniffles in the cinema sure was something new.
I've been reading this book, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. And I love it to bits. I borrowed it from the library, but would love to buy it so that I can reread it anytime I want. I only invest in books that are worth it, okay. I only have one other book, Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky.
Extremely Loud is such an enjoyable read. I haven't finished yet, but I'm loving every chapter so far. It's actually quite tragic, but they made it as subtle as possible, which made the whole thing all the more sad. Certain parts really tugged my heart. Of all the different kinds of love that one can experience and the dynamics of human relationships. I love it, I love it, I love it!
Hopefully I can find it at Kinokuniya.
In other news, life has been pretty hectic for me. But I try my best. Really. (:
